My favorite National Park podcast

Full of helpful information and fun to listen to!

Great podcast

Thank you for your fun and informative way to tour the parks. Ran across your books on audible first, then found the podcast. Thank you for sharing your adventures.

Wonderful podcast

This is my favorite podcast for sure! I look forward to every new episode. It’s fun for me and my kids to listen to in the car. We all learn and laugh so much! Thank you for the time you spend researching and sharing information and stories.

The CCC was amazing!

I always look forward to your podcasts! Thank you so much for covering this topic! I didn’t know much about these guys. What a wonderful organization and a gift to our country. You did an amazing job with your research and presenting all this info in the podcast! I had to Google what they did in MN. OMG- So much!

Love the CCC episode

Just listened the CCC episode and loved the information. Karen and Matt shared so much good information. I always laugh and learn so much !!

Bob and Sue are my favorite

I discovered this podcast when I ran out of episodes of my favorite Wisconsin Travel podcast. I don’t know that I’ll ever make it to many of the national parks but I love listening to you talk about them. The banter between Matt and Karen make me feel like I’m at home dragging my boyfriend on the next adventure. I haven’t see an episode on Voyageurs National Park but hopefully in the future. Also if you’ve visited any state parks in Michigan’s UP, Minnesota, or Wisconsin I’d love to hear about them. Keep up the great work, and the pizza suggestions! I can’t wait to read your books.

Excellent Podcast

I found this podcast last week and I love it! The stories Matt and Karen tell are delightful, and they are definitely inspiring me to go to more national parks! I am still back in the 30s on the episode count… I hope my review helps Karen meet her current dream goal! 😂

My Favorite Podcasters

I love listening to Matt & Karen’s podcast while I walk. They have peaked my interest in the NPS & their advice has been so helpful on our adventures. And they’re just fun, I’d love to meet them for a beer!

On a Bob & Sue Binge Fest

I’ve been cranking through Matt & Karen’s podcast and loving it :) all their stories make me feel like I’m outdoors while at work. I’m looking forward to listening to their audiobooks. Thanks for the great podcast!

Favorite podcast!!

Karen & Matt are a lot of fun & a joy to listen too! I have read all their books & was a little bummed when I finished! Then a friend found this podcast and I am halfway through listening! They remind me of my late hubby & I. We were planning a similar hiking journey when he passed. Also, Matt & Karen have inspired me to get back into hiking & camping even though I am now disabled. Thank You both!!!

Favorite podcast!

Absolutely loved the books and now love the podcast! I used to try to save the episodes for entertainment during road trips and other travels but now I look forward to each episode so much that I end up listening to it right away. Definitely one of the best out there!

Great podcast

I come for history, and stay for the tears! This really is a great podcast for those interested in the National parks, and outdoor recreation in general. It has great info presented in a lighthearted way.

Bob & Sue podcast

Love this podcast! So fun to listen to—but also very informative & interesting. I really enjoy looking up the parks & viewing your pictures while listening to your many adventures/misadventures. Keep it up & keep having fun doing it! 😊👍

Inter generational travel

I just listened to your interview with Grandma Joy and her grandson. You asked the best questions and brought out her sense of adventure. Great interview. Along the lines of this interview road scholar offers grandparent trips to national parks and other places. My 9 year old grandson and I went to Yellowstone this past summer on a grandparent trip. It was amazing to see the interactions between grandparents te young and old with their grandkids. My grandson and I had an absolute blast. Keep up the great work.

My go-to Podcast for outdoors adventures!

I found the Dear Bob and Sue podcast over 2 years ago and have been inspired over and over again to visit many incredible parks in the US! I love the humor but most importantly all the great advice from trail apps to hiking gear! My bucket list includes reading their books as well! Thanks again for sharing your travel experiences!!

Always my planning starting point!

Our whole family are fans of this podcast; it’s always our starting point when planning a national parks trip! Matt and Karen do their research about each park and they’ve visited most of the parks more than once, so they’re actually very familiar with the parks and various bikes, as opposed to some podcasters who have just driven through or spent an hour in a park. Highly recommend this as your first point of reference for planning a trip!

Best Podcast Find Yet

I’m a national parks and hiking enthusiast and I ran into the podcast while looking for something fun to listen to while in the final stressful weeks of my last semester of grad school. I started back at the beginning of the podcast a month ago and have already listened to podcasts 1-25 and 2 bonus episodes. Matt and Karen are great and I can’t wait to continue hearing all of their adventures and “borrow” ideas from their trips for future trips of my own! Thanks y’all!

Fun podcast for national parks enthusiasts!

We’ve been enjoying this podcast as we travel to the National Parks with our RV. Matt and Karen are upbeat and funny. We’ve learned a lot of tips that have helped us with our planning.

I love this podcast and I listen to it all the time. For mailbag Is dear bob and sue for kids and what is the top 5 best NP on the east coast?

Great podcast, Matt and Karen helped me plan a great trip

I have listened to all the episodes and love them. I have used their knowledge for several of my trip plans. Thank you all so much!

Love the Podcast!!!!

Everglades is our ‘home’ park. We go frequently. I listened this morning to your Everglades podcast and I have a python story. We were riding bikes at Shark Valley and saw an alligator who looked like he had a small tree trunk or a huge stem in it’s mouth. It wasn’t vegetation, it was a huge snake!! It was one of those moments where your eyes can’t believe what they are seeing! Wild! PS: I think slough=slew

Fun and informative!

As fans of public lands, we love this podcast! It’s great to hear the humor, the stories, the hikes, and yes, “History Channel.” We will never get to visit most of these places, but love hearing about their adventures. Please keep adding more episodes!

5 stars

I love this podcast and I love to it all the time. Can you please make one on Cuyahoga Valley national Park?

Love this podcast!

They do a great job of describing the parks in a very interesting way. I hope to see all the NPs some day and this podcast is an excellent resource

Entertaining and educational

Lots of great information and easy to listen to. The banter between M & K never fails to make me laugh.

He must listen for national park travelers and hikers

I am fairly new to national Park travel and hiking. Just discovered this podcast about a month ago. I have made my way through probably at least 75% of the episodes. I am learning so much about how to plan and ideas for different trails and hikes. I also really enjoy their sense of humor. Highly recommended
