Love this podcast!
For anyone who loves the national parks or for anyone who just enjoys hearing from a couple who seem to have marriage figured out, this is a must follow podcast. They share so much good info about visiting each park and the love they have for our nations protected lands and each other shines through.
Their books are awesome to. Very enjoyable to just have a light read or listen if you use audible books.
I recommend their podcast to anyone planning a trip to the national parks. I have been to about 30 of them and wish I would have had this resource when I was doing so my planning.

Listening to great podcast and looked down at shirt i have on today. Polebridge shirt and reminder of or family trip. Lovely area to visit, snack and sit outside and people watch. Great podcasts!

AMAZEBALLS!
My wife and I enjoy traveling to National and State Parks in the United States. I just recently came across your podcast and have not stopped listening to it during my drive to and from work. My wife and I are planning a trip to the Pacific Northwest at the end of May and are going to visit Mount Rainier National Park......I just listened to this episode which gave me a better understanding of what to expect that time of year. It was done in a very educational and fun way. It was simply AMAZEBALLS!

So educational and enjoyable
Came across your podcasts a few weeks ago. My husband and I are retired. Trying to see as many National Parks and public spaces as possible.
I love your couples humor. They history is fascinating as well as other the other facts your share.
Now have my husband listening as well.

Wonderful Resource!
My wife and I love traveling to and hiking in our public lands. This podcast is our top “go to” to learn about particular places. Matt and Karen are so entertaining too. Goofy but fun!

Worth A Double Listen
I enjoy this POD cast so much I’ve listened to them all twice!!! I listen in the car as I drive around town and to my appointments and meetings. When I was done with all 100+ episodes I missed hearing my friends talk and laugh about their adventures so I started over from number one! I look forward to Thursdays now when they drop a new POD! Thanks Matt and Karen! You guys are great!!! Always listening.

Great Starting Point!!
I like to listen to this podcast all the time!! But it is super helpful when I am in the early phases of planning a national parks trip!! I like to listen to the episodes about the park I plan to visit and it really gets my mind ready for what I may want to try while there!! From there, I watch YouTube videos and read guidebooks to make an itinerary. Thanks so much to Matt and Karen!!

Very entertaining and informative
Great podcast! Lots of fun and I learn a little bit more about our National Parks and public lands with every episode.
Best podcast ever
Matt and Karen are such an invaluable resource for my travels. The detail they give, as well as fun and entertaining way they give it, has molded 3 awesome trips for myself and my family. I really feel like I can trust them like I would family. The best vacation I have ever had was a hiking trip in southern Utah/northern AZ last year. The hikes/canyons that they recommended were awesome. I even got a Wave permit thanks to their advice. Coolest hike EVER. I am so grateful for their research, attention to detail and lighthearted humor. Keep it up guys!!

Matt and Karen make my long commute so enjoyable! I find myself driving down the road with a big grin on my face.

I just wanted to express my deep admiration for both of you. Your books have been a constant source of inspiration for me and my family to start exploring national parks. I love reading about all the adventures, mishaps, and laughter-filled moments you share along the way. Your podcast has become my go-to guide for planning my next trip, from the best hiking trails to must-visit restaurants, you always have the best recommendations. I eagerly await every Thursday to listen to your witty banter and general light-heartedness when discussing the parks. I had a lot of tough days in 2023, and your episodes always brought me a moment of relief and a smile on my face. Your knowledge of history and practical advice is truly invaluable, and I always have a notepad ready. We are in Capitol reef currently and I decided To search and see if there were any podcasts on Capitol reef. So glad I came across these guys were an awesome show. So informative, professional and fun. I will be looking forward to listening to more of their shows! Update….been listening to them for well over a year!! I subscribed right away and have automatic download of the newest show! I’ve listened to all the shows!! Now listening to some episodes again as research our spring trip. So fun!
I recently discovered dear Bob and Sue and I am currently listening to all the podcasts. I just love their storytelling, and I think they are so funny. I look forward to using their guides on some of my upcoming retirement adventures.

My favorite travel podcast
I love listening to this. I’m always getting new ideas from them. I love traveling around the USA and Canada and these podcasts help me come up with new ideas.
I also love the fun banter between the two.

If you are a fan of the National Parks, this will become your go to listen each week. Matt and Karen provide extremely helpful information, a healthy dose of humor, and practical tips and recommendations that have been life savers for me on numerous occasions during NP trips. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Matt and Karen are so entertaining to listen to AND you get some great information about the parks and other lands and what to do when you are there. Listening to them on my own road trip just makes the time fly

This is such a great podcast. Matt and Karen are so knowledgeable and funny. They even answered a question of mine in a mailbox episode last year when our family was planning a spring break trip to Canyonlands, Natural Bridges, and Monument Valley. Their recommendations were awesome and we had an amazing trip.

I’ve read all the books, but these are so enjoyable to listen it. Lots more details! I “made” my husband listen to the one on Carlsbad Caverns after he said he wanted to go there. I am with Matt, he’s with Karen, on that one! Keep them up! Sue (and Bob)

Great show!

So much fun!
I started out just listening to a specific park’s episode due to upcoming travel, and now I’m working my way through them all. It feels like having dinner with friends while they humorously recount their vacation adventures-and sometimes mishaps.
Long married couples may also enjoy the familiar back and forth- at least for us, the dry wit, and loving sarcasm and eye rolls are very familiar. Can’t wait for the next episode.
