My Redneck Husband in Hot Springs NP

OK.. just finished listening to your 12/8/2022 podcast on Hot Springs and it brought back a TON of memories…. My late husband and I did a mountain bike trip to Clearfork, AR which is very near the hot springs. I booked us spa visits to Buckhorn…. And may have forgotten to tell my spouse about the ‘adventure’ portion of the experience. Long story short - he was totally PO’ed at me when he was issued his towel (BTW… at 6’3 240# the towel was not NEAR large enough in his mind….), but when I met up with him afterward he said he felt GREAT and quickly got over any “neckkid phobia” he started with.
Thanks for making me smile at the memory - missing him every day but you certainly made me laugh.
